Dr. S.D. Gupta, Past President, SEAPHEIN, Trustee Secretary, IIHMR has been bestowed with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his significant contributions in promoting public health education in the South-East Asian Region. Dr. Gupta had been contributing for more than 40 years to promote public health education as an institution builder and nurtured many students and professionals through his teaching, training, and research capabilities in the domain areas of public health. Dr Gupta has been a founding member of the SEAPHEIN and supported the SEAPHEIN movement to strengthen and promote public health education in the SEAR. He had been a great source for member institutions to come together and work in a collaborative environment. He is known for his networking skills in this part of the world.
